Build a team that believes it can.
Confidence can be taught. TEAM Development gives coaches a weekly way to build it, using four pillars drawn from Albert Bandura's research on self-efficacy.

Four pillars, one loop
Self-efficacy is a person's belief that they can do what the moment asks of them. Teams that have it try harder, recover faster and keep going. Each pillar feeds the next.
-
Training
Getting better, and knowing it
Coaches teach skills through engaging team activities, and players keep practicing on their own, so everyone has real success to point to.
-
Encouragement
The language a team lives in
Coaches and teammates practice feedback that is specific and believable, because "good job" doesn't build much but "you read that block early" does.
-
Aspiration
Seeing what's possible
Players watch their own film and their teammates, then reflect on what they noticed, what they're proud of and what comes next.
-
Mindbody
Turning pressure into fuel
Breathing routines, visualization and pre-game habits, plus ways to process a hard loss and move forward.
How it works
-
Assess
Your team takes a short assessment. The answers become a radar chart showing where belief is strong and where it's thin.
-
Assign
Pick assignments from the library and schedule them. Players complete them on their phones and earn Strides for the work.
-
Grow
Check who's keeping up, reassess, and watch the radar change over the season.
Everyone sees what they should
Teams run on trust, so each role gets its own view.
- Coaches and leaders
- Send assignments, set schedules, and see each player's completions and the team's results.
- Players
- Do the work, track their progress, and build a record of what they've done. Self-talk recordings stay private unless the player shares them.
- Parents
- Follow the one player they were invited to follow, and nobody else.
- General observers
- See team-level progress only, with an invite from the team's leader.
